MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. – Finding a campground, reserving a pavilion or discovering a new park in Mobile County is now easier with www.MobileCountyParks.com.

The Mobile County Commission’s new Parks & Recreation website features information on nearly 2,000 acres of parks and recreation, including trails, campgrounds, boat and kayak launches, sports facilities, and fishing locations. Visitors can reserve campsites and park facilities, browse upcoming events, view maps, and find park rules and other resources.

"Mobile County Commission has made significant investments in parks, sports facilities, public water access, and outdoor recreation," said Mobile County Commission President Connie Hudson. "MobileCountyParks.com reflects that growth by bringing information, reservations, and recreation resources together in one convenient place.”

The website features information on 21 Mobile County Commission parks and recreation assets, from regional destinations like Chickasabogue Park, Escatawpa Hollow Park & Campground, Bayfront Park, Cedar Point Pier and River Delta Marina & Campground to community parks, walking trails, sports facilities and public water access sites throughout the county. It also highlights upcoming destinations, including the Mobile County Aquatics Center and Cypress Creek Golf Course.

Visitors can also complete several transactions online, including reserving campsites and park facilities, submitting event permit requests, and submitting food vendor applications for select parks and specific dates of service. Additionally, Mobile County Community Calendar events held at County parks populate the site's events page.
