Johnson Road temporary closure at Jeff Hamilton Road

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. -- Johnson Road just south of Jeff Hamilton Road in west Mobile County will be closed to through traffic beginning Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 for the construction of a roundabout. Jeff Hamilton Road will remain open.

 

This closure is expected to last approximately four months; however, all construction projects are weather-dependent.

Detour signs will be in place before the closure. The detour is Johnson Road, McFarland Road, and Jeff Hamilton Road. Motorists are asked to allow extra travel time during this closure.

This temporary closure is in Mobile County Commission District 3.
