Gulf Coast Pet Adoption Festival at Mobile County Animal Shelter on March 22

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. -- Mobile County Animal Shelter is the beneficiary of the 2025 Gulf Coast Pet Adoption Festival on Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring

No fees for the first 20 adoptions thanks to event sponsors
Dog costume contest beginning at noon (prizes for winners; CLICK to register)
Bakery items for people and pets
Sponsor booths, music, activities, and fun

Event sponsors (Rich’s Car Wash, Cumulus Broadcasting, and others) pick one shelter to feature annually. Their goal is to get every adoptable pet into its forever home. The event is free to attend.

More than half are puppies
No cats at this time

All Mobile County Animal Shelter adoptions include microchip, spay/neuter, flea and deworming treatments, rabies and other vaccinations, as well as heartworm testing for dogs over 6 months old.
