EXAM REQUIREMENTS

APPRENTICE

Graduation from an approved school with 1500 hours.  Schedule an appointment to take the exam.

Applicants must have a negative TB skin test and present the blue student enrollment form signed by the administrator of the local barber school they attended. 

MASTER

Applicants must have been an apprentice under a Master Barber for two years.  Schedule an appointment to take the exam.

INSTRUCTOR

Applicants must have been a Master Barber for three years.  Schedule an appointment to take the exam.
