The Mobile County Animal Shelter seeks to enforce animal control laws, promote the adoptions of unwanted animals and provide the highest level of care for those in its custody.

Revenue Commission

The Revenue Commissioner's Office is charged with the mapping, appraisal, assessing, and collection of ad valorem taxes in Mobile County.

Grants Department

Deals with the development of the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plans for the County's entitlement grants. It also has direct administration and responsibility for the operation of the programs and activities of the Consolidated Plan.

Parks and Recreation

Mobile County parks and recreation facilities encompass over 1,177 acres of beautifully designed properties that offer scenic viewing of Mobile Bay, hiking, Frisbee areas, golf, picnic areas, and softball and baseball fields.

Board of Equalization

The Board of Equalization serves only to hear appeals on Market Value.

License Commission

This department is designed to assist you in the registration of your vehicle in Mobile County, as well as to provide you with information on other services offered by the office of the License Commissioner.
