SMALL BUSINESS WORKSHOPS FOR MOBILE COUNTY

Companies and individuals newly doing business or interested in doing business in Mobile County are encouraged to attend a Small Business Workshop for Mobile County businesses. You will hear presentations from a number of representatives in departments that new businesses will/may need to interface, i.e. revenue ? licensing, taxes; planning ? permitting, zoning, code administration, ; public safety; and community business resources. These events will also introduce small business resources in Mobile County, including local chambers, SBA-sponsored business service organizations, Alabama Minority Business Enterprise Center, the Business Innovation Center; South Alabama Regional Planning Commission; and Community Enterprise Investments, and the local SBA office. What: Small Business Workshops for Mobile County Who should attend: Small Business Owners and Potential Owners in Mobile County Cost: Free, no reservation needed. When and Where: All workshops will be held 5:30 pm ? 7:00 pm District 1 Tuesday April 14 Creola Senior Center, 9618 Old Highway 43 District 2 Tuesday April 21 Semmes Library, Highway 98 District 3 Tuesday April 28 Tillman?s Corner Community Center, 5505 Carol Plantation Road Why: The ultimate goal of these meetings is to make the process of doing business in Mobile County more convenient and understandable to our business community.
