Shelter to Demonstrate Animal CPR at Adoption Event

March Madness brings a one-of-a-kind adoption event to the Mobile County Animal Shelter from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16. The event will include an animal CPR demonstration by the shelter?s licensed veterinarian technician. There will also be games for kids,a rabies clinic, and discounts on adoption fees. The shelter is located at 7665 Howells Ferry Road. Also on hand for the day will be 10 to 15 honor roll students from Citronelle High School who have opted to donate animal gifts as well as service time to the county shelter. They will be arriving with all kinds of goodies, including treats and toys, leashes, animal shampoo and more. During their visit, they help out at the shelter with the animals and the kennels. More than 40 dogs and 10 cats are available for adoption. Photos of the animals may be viewed at www.mobilecountyanimals.com.
