Public Meeting on Schillinger Road Set

The public is invited to an informational meeting on two Mobile County road projects to widen Schillinger Road South between Three Notch and Cottage Hill Roads. The informal, walk-in meeting is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 27 in the Fellowship Hall at Woodridge Baptist Church, 2700 Schillinger Road South. The meeting is intended to address any questions and concerns of area residents. Project engineers will be attending to provide information to the public. The first project includes the widening to five lanes of the existing section of Schillinger Road South from Three Notch Road to Country Drive. The second section includes the widening to five lanes of the existing section of Schillinger Road South from Country Drive to Cottage Hill Road. The projects are part of the Pay-As-You-Go road program approved by voters. ###
