Temporary Road Closure: Old Pascagoula Road near intersection of Carol Plantation Road

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. – Old Pascagoula Road near the signal light at the intersection of Carol Plantation Road in west Mobile County will be closed to through traffic beginning Wednesday, Oct. 9 to replace a cross drain pipe.

 

All lanes on Old Pascagoula Road will be closed while the work is occurring.

All lanes on Carol Plantation Road will remain open.

 

This closure is expected to last approximately one month; however, all construction projects are weather-dependent.

 

Detour signs will be in place before the closure. The detour is south on Carol Plantation Road to west on Theodore Dawes Road to northeast on Old Pascagoula Road. When the road is closed, its detour should appear on online traffic navigation services like Waze as well.

 

This temporary closure is in Mobile County Commission District 3.
