Newberry Lane West closure

As part of the Hitt Road construction project, Newberry Lane West will be closed starting Mon., Nov. 28 for approximately five months. Access to Newberry Lane West, Newberry Lane East, Copley Circle, Wadsworth Court and Thorndike Lane will be from Newberry Lane East. Manchester Place may still be accessed from Hitt Road. Access to the Recycling Center will be maintained. Hitt Road has been under construction and closed to through traffic between Schillinger Road and Cody Road since October. Due to construction traffic, the public is advised to use Airport Blvd or Grelot Road as an alternate route. Motorists are asked to be cautious, allow for extra travel time and to take alternate routes. The primary area under construction will be from Newbury Lane East to Newbury Lane West. Turn lanes will be added into the Manchester Subdivision and Recycling Center/West Park entrance.
