Mobile County To Issue Permits by Fax

When it comes to issuing mechanical permits to contractors, Mobile County Inspection Services is making it a lot easier. Beginning Monday, August 13, mechanical contractors can fax in permit requests to (251) 574-3509; and in most cases, be issued a permit on the same day. The office launched a similar practice a few months ago by issuing electrical permits via fax, and it was a success. To get set up, contractors will first need to go into the Inspection Services office, fill out the necessary paperwork, and then provide proper identification and credit card information.
