Mobile County Offices To Close Wednesday, January 29

Posted on: Jan 28th, 2014 | Press Releases

MEDIA ADVISORY: Mobile County Commission President Merceria Ludgood announced that Mobile County offices will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29, because of continuing deterioration of weather conditions locally. Driving conditions are likely to be dangerous as freezing precipitation and falling temperatures combine to make roadways icy. Meantime, county sand trucks are deployed throughout the 1,400 miles of roads within the county to sand bridges and roads and to monitor driving conditions. The county will continue to update the public on changing conditions.
