Mobile County Gives Thanksgiving Check to Salvation Army

Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine will present a $10,000 check to the Salvation Army as he joins an army of volunteers in serving up the agency?s annual Thanksgiving Day feast Thursday. It will be the 14th year that the commissioner is volunteering at the Salvation Army?s Thanksgiving Day dinner. Nodine also will be joining Cecil Morris, director of culinary arts for the Salvation Army, at the WKSJ radio station on Wednesday morning, November 25. Radio hosts Dan and Shelby will be devoting some of their 8 a.m. show to the work of the Salvation Army. In the course of the last six years, the Mobile County Commission has provided more than $150,000 in funding to the Salvation Army.
