Mobile County Beefs Up Staffing for Vacant Commissioner Office

Posted on: Jun 1st, 2010 | Announcements

The Mobile County Commission wants the public to know that the District 2 office of former Commissioner Stephen Nodine is staffed full-time and district residents should continue to contact the office for any problems or concerns. The telephone number to the office is 574-2000. ?We are elected from individual districts, but we serve the entire county and are fully committed to serving all its residents,? said Commission president Merceria Ludgood. All matters will be referred to the appropriate person from the District 2 office, and the remaining commissioners and county staff will assure that all calls are handled appropriately. ?We have had to do this in the past, and while it is not the best of circumstances, we can fully respond to all citizens,? said Commissioner Mike Dean. ?The public needs to know we are available to all of them and the work of county government will continue to move forward.? ###
