Mobile County Animal Shelter to Pre-Qualify Applicants for FREE Pet Adoption

PRE-QUALIFY TODAY to adopt a FREE pet during Maddie's Pet Adoption Days. Applications are now being accepted by the Mobile County Animal Shelter (MCAS) and other local shelters. Those interested in providing a forever home to a pet can go to the MCAS located at 7665 Howells Ferry Road or view the shelter?s current adoptable pets at: www.mobilecountyanimals.com. Then complete an adoption application. Here?s a link: http://www.mobilespca.org/Portals/0/Maddie%20Adoption%20Application.pdf The FREE Pet Adoption event will take place this weekend, May 31 and June 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Pinebrook Shopping Center (on Airport Blvd. near McGregor) in the old Blockbuster location. There is a large selection of kittens, cats, puppies and dogs available for adoption. Among the pets looking for a home is Evan, a lovable American Bulldog mix. He was brought into the shelter after roaming the streets. He is about three years old, and is very playful, friendly and very much craves attention.
