Mobile County Animal Shelter Hours Change

Posted on: Jun 5th, 2014 | Announcements

The Mobile County Animal Shelter will be closed this weekend and will open only one Saturday per month, effective immediately, because of staff vacancies and the low volume of Saturday adoptions. Shelter hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and a special adoption event will be planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of each month. Those who want to view adoptable animals may come by the shelter at 7665 Howells Ferry Road, or the animals may be viewed online at www.mobilecountyanimals.com.
