License Commissioner Extends Renewal Period Due To Weather Conditions

The deadline for all January vehicle license renewals will be extended from January 31 to February 7 with no penalties assessed, according to License Commissioner Kim Hastie. ?We have been authorized by the state to extend the renewal deadline because of the winter storm that has made road travel almost impossible this week,? Hastie said. Hastie requested the extension from state Revenue Commissioner Julie McGee, who approved it Wednesday for Mobile County residents.
