Johnson Road West Temporary Closure Just North of Jeff Hamilton Road

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. -- Johnson Road West, immediately north of Jeff Hamilton Road in west Mobile County will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, Aug. 12 for the construction of a roundabout.

 

The south side of Johnson Road West and Jeff Hamilton Road will remain open.

 

This closure is expected to last approximately 10 weeks; however, all construction projects are weather-dependent.

 

Detour signs will be in place before the closure. The detour is Johnson Road West north to Airport Boulevard; Snow Road South/McFarland Road to Johnson Road South. Motorists are asked to allow extra travel time during this closure. 

 

This temporary closure is in Mobile County Commission District 3.
