Johnson Road closure at Jeff Hamilton Road

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. -- Johnson Road SOUTH just south of Jeff Hamilton Road in west Mobile County, will be closed beginning Thursday, Nov. 16 for the construction of a roundabout. Jeff Hamilton Road will remain open.

This closure is expected to last approximately four months; however, all construction projects are weather-dependent.

Detour signs will be in place prior to the closure. Through traffic will be detoured to the intersection of McFarland Road at Jeff Hamilton Road then south on McFarland Road, then west to Johson Road South. Motorists are asked to allow extra travel time during this closure.

This temporary closure is in Mobile County Commission District 3.
