Temporary Intersection Closure: Johnson Rd W & Jeff Hamilton

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. – The intersection of Johnson Road West and Jeff Hamilton Road will be closed to through traffic in all directions beginning Monday, Oct. 14, for the final construction of a new roundabout.

This closure is expected to last approximately two weeks; however, all construction projects are weather-dependent.

Detour signs will be in place before the closure. The detour is west on Jeff Hamilton Road, going north on Grand Bay Wilmer Road continuing on Newman Road, going east on Airport Boulevard, then south on Snow Road. When the intersection is closed, its detour should appear on online traffic navigation services like Waze as well.

This temporary closure is in Mobile County Commission District 3.
