Global Aerospace Company Gets Lift-Off for New Location in Mobile

Mobile County Commission President Connie Hudson said today she is pleased and excited to welcome the newest member of the Mobile County aerospace community after Hutchinson Aerospace & Industry of France announced that it would be set up a facility at Brookley Aeroplex. ?They expressed they were looking forward to a long partnership with the City and County of Mobile,? Commissioner Hudson said. ?Initially, they will be taking over a warehouse complex at Brookley, but the plans are to expand their operations and their footprint and also the number of jobs. There is a lot of growth potential with Hutchinson Aerospace.? The company will open a manufacturing repair and overhaul facility at Brookley, according to their announcement today at the opening of the Paris Air Show. The company will be servicing the region?s growing aerospace industry, including Airbus?s U.S. Manufacturing Center. The company has four business lines: sealing systems, vibration and thermal acoustic insulation systems, fluid transfer systems and transmission and mobility.
