Free Pet Adoptions; One Day Only

Posted on: Aug 22nd, 2014 | Announcements

It?s a Labor of Love in anticipation of Labor Day: friends of the Mobile County Animal Shelter are sponsoring free animal adoptions for all dogs and cats over one year old and all others offered at the low cost of $10 per animal. ?It?s a great gift that saves animals and gets them into loving homes,? said General Services Manager Donna Jones. The $10 adoption fee covers a rabies shot, a 5-in-1 vaccination, worming, and spaying and neutering. This compares to a regular price of $80 for dogs and $70 for cats. A total of 52 animals are available for adoption at the shelter, including nine dogs and two cats over the age of one. To view the animals, go to www.mobilecountyanimals.com or at the Mobile County Animal Shelter facebook page. The shelter, located at 7665 Howells Ferry Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
