Due to Weather Mobile Government Plaza & Mobile County Commission Offices Closing at 3 p.m. Jan. 8, 2024

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala.  – In anticipation of inclement weather, the Mobile County Commission has declared a state of emergency and will close Mobile Government Plaza and all Mobile County Commission offices at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024.  

Mobile Government Plaza will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.   

Mobile County Commission offices will reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.  

Mobile County officials will be closely monitoring the weather.  Should any additional announcements need to be made, employees will be notified via email and posts will be made on the Mobile County’s official social media platforms (@MobileCountyAL).
