County Commission To Hold Special Meeting, Reschedules Conference Time

The Mobile County Commission will hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, in the auditorium of Mobile Government Plaza. The purpose of the meeting is to consider adopting a resolution approving a contractual obligation in support of $50,500,000 in Gulf Opportunity Zone Act (GO Zone) bonds allocated by the State of Alabama to be issued by the Industrial Development Authority of Mobile County for the benefit of Revenge Supercars, LLC, to develop an automobile manufacturing facility in Mobile County. Also, the next scheduled Commission Conference will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, November 4, in the multi-purpose room of Mobile Government Plaza. Due to a scheduling conflict on that day the 10 a.m. meeting time was changed. Both meetings are free and open to the public.
