County Changes Location of Animal Adoption This Saturday Only

The Mobile County Animal Shelter will hold its Saturday adoption event this weekend at the Mobile Regional Senior Community Center at 3201 Hillcrest Road as part of the Senior Center?s Family and Friend?s Fun Day. The dogs and cats are adoptable animals of all sizes and pedigrees ? most of them strays that have been abandoned. About two dozen will be trucked over for the special event, which celebrates the Senior Center?s one-year anniversary. There will also be a computer available to show other animals that are housed at the county shelter and available for adoption.
