County Animal Shelter Launches ?A Home For The HOWLidays?

Posted on: Dec 3rd, 2013 | Announcements

Christmas is only a few weeks away. Have you found that perfect gift for the family? Consider adopting a pet from the Mobile County Animal Shelter. During the entire month of December, pets can be adopted from the MCAS for only $50. The cost includes a lovable pet, first set of shots, spay/neuter and rabies vaccination. The shelter is located at 7665 Howells Ferry Road. There is a large selection of kittens, cats, puppies and dogs available for adoption. Among the pets looking for a home is Lexi, an adorable pug and beagle mix (Pugle). She was found roaming the streets and appears to be a victim of a hit-and-run. Now, her only visible injury is some road rash on her body, where her hair will no longer grow. She is about a year old, and is very playful and friendly. Lexi is looking for a good family to show her some love. To view all the current adoptable pets, go to: www.mobilecountyanimals.com. For more information about the holiday adoption event, call 574-3647.
