NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF MOBILE COUNTY COMMISSION The Mobile County Commission will hold a special meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012 in the auditorium of Mobile Government Plaza, 205 Government Street, for the purpose of holding a public hearing and approving submission of an application for a JAG grant. The agenda follows: AGENDA SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MOBILE COUNTY COMMISSION 10:00 A.M. May 7, 2012 1) HOLD public hearing so any citizen of the County shall be given an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed use of funds under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, FY 2012 Local Solicitation. 2) APPROVE submission of application for funding in the amount of $219,521.00 under FY 2012 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program for the period October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2015 with no local match (application to be revised and completed in accordance with the terms of Memorandum of Understanding between Mobile County, the City of Mobile and the City of Prichard relating to use of funds and other matters). 3) Commission announcements and/or comments. 4) APPROVE request for motion to adjourn until May 15, 2012.
