Commission To Hold Emergency Meeting On Thursday

The Mobile County Commission will hold an emergency meeting on Thursday, July 9, following the 10 a.m. Commission Conference scheduled for that day. At the emergency meeting, the Commission will consider an agreement with Mobile County, the City of Mobile, and the City of Prichard, to obtain $227,944 in grant funds designated for law enforcement. The agreement relates to an application to be submitted to the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program that must be e-filed by 8 p.m. eastern time on Thursday.
