Cypress Creek Golf Course Expands Operations, Announces New Rates and Memberships

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. – Mobile County's Cypress Creek Golf Course will expand operations to six days a week beginning Nov. 1, offering expanded access, interim rates, and a new membership option following a successful soft launch.

The Mobile County Commission approved interim rates that include annual memberships on Oct. 22. The new pricing also includes reduced weekday green fees, tournament packages and special rates for high school golfers.

The 18-hole public course, located at 3700 St. Andrews Lane North, opened in September with an abbreviated schedule to allow the newly established turf time to mature. With the course developing well, operations will expand from four to six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"We're proud of what we've built at Cypress Creek, and we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy it," said District 3 Commissioner Randall Dueitt, who has championed this project. "Whether you're a lifelong golfer, just learning the game or introducing your children to it, this course is for you."

Interim rate and fee schedule, effective Oct. 22:

  • Annual memberships: $2,000, with an introductory rate of $1,750 for the first 100 people to sign up
  • 18-hole green fees: $30 Tuesday through Thursday; $40 Friday through Sunday and holidays
  • 9-hole green fees: $20 Tuesday through Thursday; $30 Friday through Sunday and holidays
  • Golf carts: $25 for 18 holes; $15 for nine holes
  • Tournaments: $55 per player Tuesday through Thursday; $65 Friday through Sunday and holidays
  • High school golfers: Special rates for matches and individual play
  • NOTE: Green fees and cart fees are charged separately. Tournament rates include green fees, carts, range balls, and a $5 pro shop gift certificate per player.

This expanded schedule and interim rate structure build directly upon the course's initial phased opening. Because this is a new County facility, operational hours, rates, and services remain subject to adjustment as turf maturation and player volume continue to be evaluated.
