?Are You My Mother? Event Set for Saturday

A week ahead of Mother's Day, the Mobile County Animal Shelter is hosting the "Are You My Mother?" adoption event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the shelter, 7665 Howells Ferry Road just east of Schillinger Road. Adoption fees will be reduced through sponsorships by local businesses. Also, from 10 a.m. to noon, there will be a rabies clinic and micro-chipping. The rabies vaccination is $10 and micro-chipping is $25 and both services are open to the public. Scores of animals are available for adoption from the shelter.
