Airport Boulevard To Get Resurfaced to Mississippi Line

Posted on: Nov 22nd, 2010 | Announcements

The Mobile County Commission Monday voted to apply federal and local funds toward the resurfacing of Airport Boulevard from Snow Road to the Mississippi state line. The $3.55 million project will be funded with $1.817 million of federal aid; the remainder will be funded by the 2008 Pay-As-You-Go Road Program. Project engineers expect the contract to be awarded by December, which would mean a start time about February. The project will take six to eight months to complete. ###
