IMANI SUMMER ACTING WORKSHOPS

Mobile’s Imani Community Theatre Company and the Clotilda Descendants Association are offering a FREE workshop and training with sessions led by playwright Terrence Spivey, who is developing a play based on the story of the Clotilda and the founders of Africatown. The Imani Summer Acting Workshops will take place July 25 through 28, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yorktown Baptist Church. The workshop is being held in the Felloswhip Hall and will study the works of August Wilson, who helped shape black theatre the past 30 years onto the American theatre stage.
