Sunny Side Drama is hosting camps for children in grades 2 to 8 from Monday, June 1, to Friday, July 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. at University of South Alabama Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. Campers will play theater games, participate in show rehearsals, learn about styling and characterization and paint sets while putting together a full-length play. The camp consists of three two-week-long sessions; each session is $280.
Rising Stars is a program for students in grades 8 and above. In Glee Camp, children learn songs and dances culminating in a final concert. The Musical Theater Intensive is an opportunity for children to work with a national award-winning guest director while producing a musical.
