HERITAGE LECTURE SERIES: FIRST WOMAN ON THE THRONE

The Heritage Lecture Series event, a collection of speeches related to the Black experience, continues on Thursday, June 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Africatown Heritage House. The speaker will be Administrative Law Judge Tori L. Adams, who assumed the position of Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association's (MAMGA’s) first-ever female grand marshal, at the dawn of the new millennium. Adams will speak about her historic position while also giving background information on her family’s legacy in Africatown. Capacity is limited at this FREE event, and guests are required to RSVP to attend by calling (251) 206-5268.
