The Heritage Lecture Series event, a collection of speeches related to the Black experience, continues on Thursday, June 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Africatown Heritage House. The speaker will be Administrative Law Judge Tori L. Adams, who assumed the position of Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association's (MAMGA’s) first-ever female grand marshal, at the dawn of the new millennium. Adams will speak about her historic position while also giving background information on her family’s legacy in Africatown.
