MOBTOWN MURAL FESTIVAL

Mobile will become a canvas at the Mobile Arts Council's inaugural MobTown Mural Festival, a FREE two-day celebration of public art, beginning Friday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m. through Saturday, Sept. 13, at 11 p.m. at various locations in downtown Mobile and Cooper Riverside Park. 

Mobile's first large-scale mural festival will feature local artists creating vibrant new murals on walls and three-dimensional 4-by-4-foot cubes in downtown Mobile. Watch the artists at work, meet muralists and enjoy live music and food trucks along the riverfront.

MobTown Mural Festival coincides with the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf’s opening weekend for Son of a Son of a Sailor: The Jimmy Buffett Experience, including the unveiling of a new larger-than-life Buffett sculpture on the waterfront.
