MOWA BAND OF CHOCTAW INDIANS CULTURAL WORKSHOPS

Come learn about traditions of the MOWA Band of Choctaw Indians as the tribe invites you to a series of cultural workshops on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Choose a morning workshop and/or an afternoon workshop. Free taco lunch provided.

• Session I Earthen Vessels A Hands on Clay Experience
• Session II Choctaw Sassafras Tea
• Session III Pine Needle Basketry
• Session IV Native American Homes

Choose one of these 1 to 3 p.m. workshops: 

• Session V Story of the Dream Catcher
• Session VI Choctaw Greeting & Lord's Prayer
• Session VII Sharing Elder Stories
