Bishop State Community College is excited to announce its brand new 80,000 square foot Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center is opening this fall! They are inviting the community to come out and Explore Bishop State, Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event is for the community to learn more about the programs and opportunities being offered and includes a sign up for the next lineworker training class. The mission of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center will focus on STEM education and training and contains a first-of-its-kind process technology laboratory, a large conference center style lecture hall, computer labs, theory classrooms, and a cybercafé. Bishop State has partnered with Alabama Power to host this information session about the programs and opportunities that are now available to make sure students are trained and educated for the high-wage, high-tech, and high-paying jobs they are looking to fill right now!
