Your child can experience the transformative effect of contemporary art! Alabama Contemporary Art Center is offering an opportunity for creative students to create and play using everyday objects and experiment with different art mediums. Trash Transformed, June 20 through 24, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. will transform everyday objects into art! Teaching artist Mary Franklin King will help create art that explores your very own identity, using mixed media and recycled materials to make one a kind artwork. This is geared for ages 6 through 10 and students will explore different art mediums including watercolor, sculpture, drawing, mixed media, and movement. The camp ends on Friday with an art reception featuring the work of the campers. For more information or to register visit https://www.alabamacontemporary.org/events/summercamp-week2/
*Campers must bring a lunch and snack every day to eat during supervised breaks. Avoid peanut products*
