POW/MIA CANDLELIGHT CEREMONY

USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park will host a POW/MIA Candlelight Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day. The ceremony will be held at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the park and will be conducted by the South Alabama Veterans Council. The ceremony will honor those service men and women who were held captive and returned and those service men and women who still remain missing in action.
