NatureNauts STEM Day, a fun-filled day of hands-on learning and outdoor exploration for the whole family, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bellingrath Gardens. Discover the incredible wildlife, ecology and innovation of the Gulf Coast through interactive exhibits and engaging activities presented by a variety of STEM organizations from across the region. Featured experiences include live animal encounters with The Reptile Bus and Outdoor with Jay, along with interactive presentations from the AWF Delta & Bay Conservation Center. Guests can meet reptile and amphibian ambassadors, explore mammal pelts and skull replicas and learn about keystone and indicator species and the vital roles they play in shaping — and reflecting — the health of their environments. Admission for non-members is $18.50 for adults and $13.25 for children. For an additional ticket, take a 40-minute cruise aboard the Historic Blakeley State Park’s Delta Explorer (tour times: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.); children 4 and under must bring their own life jackets.
