The Mobile Symphony presents the Summer Strings: Suzuki Violin Institute Program from Tuesday, June 17 through Thursday, July, 24, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Larkins Music Center. The theory of music will be taught in a step-by-step, straightforward way for kids who want to have fun learning the fundamentals of music. This class covers treble clef notation, time values, time signatures, sharps, flats, naturals, and much more. BEGINNING STRINGS: Learn how to play a string instrument during the summer and develop new skills under the expert guidance of a professional string teacher artist. For elementary or middle school students wanting to learn how to play the violin, viola, cello, or string bass. No experience is necessary. SUMMER STRINGS: Continue playing an instrument during the summer and learn new skills under the expert guidance of a professional string teacher. Make new friends, discover the secrets of an instrument, learn new music, and have fun playing in an orchestra!
