Join the Mobile County VOAD for the 2026 Disaster Planning Training on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Simpson Strong-Tie in Theodore, Alabama. This community preparedness event is open to residents and community members interested in learning more about disaster readiness and response ahead of the 2026 storm season.
Participants will hear a hurricane season briefing from Fox10 WALA, attend a Heir Property Workshop presented by Legal Services Alabama, learn about the Neighbor Emergency Response Team program from Mobile County Emergency Management Agency, and take part in a warehouse tour hosted by Simpson Strong-Tie.
FREE. Lunch will be provided. Attendees are asked to RSVP and note any food restrictions when registering.
