MOBILE COUNTY COMMISSION AMERICA 250 KICK OFF PARTY

Celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary at the Mobile County Commission’s America 250 Kickoff Party on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Government Plaza Pocket Park in downtown Mobile.

The community is invited to enjoy live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities as Mobile County helps launch local commemorations of America 250, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The event follows the 3:30 p.m. naming and dedication ceremony for Mobile County’s new Government Plaza Pocket Park.

Admission is FREE.

Guests are encouraged to bring friends and family and enjoy an afternoon of community celebration. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from participating vendors.
