John Quiñones, Emmy-winning ABC News veteran and host of What Would You Do? will speak at the University of South Alabama's Mitchell Center on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, from 1 to 2 p.m. Growing up in poverty in San Antonio, Quiñones went on to earn a master’s degree from Columbia University’s elite journalism school. He knows first-hand the value of education and overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles to achieve dreams.
