HISTORIC BARTON LECTURE

Join the Historic Mobile Preservation Society for a special talk about the revival of the Historic Barton Academy with exclusive guest speakers, the President of the Barton Academy Foundation Elizabeth Stevens and Barton’s Principal, Dr. Amanda Jones. After being listed on Alabama's Places in Peril twice, The Barton Academy Foundation launched a unique campaign to raise money for the restoration of the building and turn it into a world studies school. This event will take place Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Historic Oakleigh Museum.
