Do you have a passion for photography and the arts? Want to hone your skills while telling a story using pictures? Space is limited so register for this FREE Photography Workshop with Vincent Lawson today! Saturdays, April 2 and 9, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dotch Community Center.
Join the Black Life, Arts, and Culture Coalition in this new initiative that will place cameras into the hands of people across Mobile’s Black communities and invite them to document their answer to the question, “What is Black Life in Mobile?”
The culmination of this project will result in an exhibition of the submitted photos in a professional gallery setting, as well as off-street window “pop-up galleries” throughout Downtown Mobile. Learn photography skills, collaborate with outstanding Black photographers, and participate in a photography exhibition.
