SON OF A SAILOR FEST: JIMMY'S BACKYARD POP-UP

Jimmy's Backyard Son of a Sailor Fest Pop-up will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, from noon to 8 p.m. at Cedar Street Social in downtown Mobile. Celebrate the music and legacy of Mobile native Jimmy Buffett with a FREE outdoor festival featuring live Gulf Coast music, local vendors, food, drinks, and live mural painting as part of Mobtown Mural Fest.

The music lineup includes W.B. Sims, Sara Bug, Vibe Irie, Tanner Lee Gray, and a Jimmy Buffett tribute show. Admission is free. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. 

The Jimmy Buffett Son of a Son of a Sailor Experience exhibit will open, and a statue honoring the legendary singer-songwriter will be unveiled that same day (Sept. 12) at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf.
