READING OF 'FOSTER'

Public Works Project presents a reading of award-winning Irish author Claire Keegan's "Foster" on Sunday, May 3, at 2 p.m. in Bernheim Hall at Ben May Main Library. First published in The New Yorker in 2010, "Foster" has been praised for its emotional depth, subtle language and powerful depiction of childhood, loss and connection, despite its short length. The readers for this special project are are among the best-loved actors Mobile has to offer: E. A. Keeble, John Campbell, Lesley Anne Roberts, Lisa Costa, Charlie Kelly and Alisha Britnall. Admission is FREE to the public.
