OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP (presented by Mobile County Department of Environmental Enforcement)

Rid your home of unwanted appliances, computers, printers, household items, yard debris and more at no charge during Mobile County Department of Environmental Enforcement's third Operation Clean Sweep of fall 2021, scheduled from Nov. 6 from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Old Irvington Landfill (7195 Half Mile Road, Irvington, AL 36544).  For more information contact Mobile County Department of Environmental Enforcement at 251-574-STOP (7867) or on Facebook at stoplittermobile

Acceptable items: appliances, computers/printers, flat screen TVs, flat screen monitors, household items, yard debris, scrap metal, clothing, electronics and tires (limited to 10). 

Unacceptable items: tubed TVs, CRT monitors, roofing, hazardous waste, junk cars, boats, pressure tanks, waste oil, liquid paint, nails, glass, sharp objects and household garbage. 

Rules:

  • Proof of Mobile County residency required
  • No businesses
  • No dump trailers
  • Drivers required to unload their vehicle
  • One vehicle per household
  • Face coverings requested | social distancing required
